I could hear the television in the
Living room
The family doing its Sunday night
Routine
The telephone rang,
Kids ran up and down the stairs,
Someone hollered, someone laughed.
No one aware that life had just changed
For us all.
A sucker punch to the gut
Followed by tears
... And prayer
The person I loved and trusted most
In the world
Said I was going to be OK --
So it must be true ...
Right?
Wow a low blow!...So sorry...The only thing I can say is, it's up to you what it will be like!If you don't let anyone elses idea of how you should be and go with your own gut and heart feelings you'll make it through.
