Lost gang youth. Written by Diane Compagno AKA Marie Cloud

EYES SO EMPTY

Within the eyes, a blank expression
No longer does a conscience reign
Only hate, strife and dissension
everything seems so insane
Morale standard non-existent
love and caring not inside
Lost those souls so resistant
lies and hand signs to defy

To clash with fists a simple hurt
now only guns to snuff life out
No more kind words just filthy dirt
disdain and scorn their only route
Belonging now is with their friends
Family is an unknown term
Loyalty to color trends
Turf issues remain yet firm

Is it too late to change their eyes
the feelings and beliefs within
Bureaucracy and all the lies
is all that it has ever been
The poor and proud are hurt the most
the pay is low the drugs abound
Dealers sell and even boast
The younger learn and hang around

Ah, but this is so tragic, a vicious cycle that I hope will someday end. RD

Earth-centric Humanity at the Crossroads by Martin Treon

For the reasons I describe in this book, the world-wide suffering, death and extinction of humanity is very likely to occur, unless nonviolent and democratically determined radical and revolutionary personal and societal actions and changes are taken

America’s slide to infamy continues under the careful tutelage of a leadership that’s determined to grab as much as they can before the ship sinks.
