Poem Artwork

When you say the word ‘Opening,’ your mouth shapes the letter O.  The portal through which we enter this world is an aperture, opening and closing, giving and receiving.  The Portal.

Through this passage

We journey, come in —

—    Go out

Carry on the message

Touch skin to skin —

—    Our walkabout

Your artwork is uniquely beautiful and
echoes your inner spirit, and the flowing
nature of your being through your portal….
Exquisite work…

My portal has become this electronic device that creates words from my voice, but does not carry any emotion at all. I have to convey that in my words.

But, for maturation to occur one must have both the warm voice of the portal that feeds the infant as well as its warm touch.

Interesting concept for a poem. Cool artwork.

Another sublime sketch to accompany your intriguing, short poem.
