blood in the cup
musta broke a tooth
guess that's what I get
for speaking the truth
she hit me hard
she hit me good
I guess there's no doubt
that it's understood
I just want some peace
the last thing I do
but I guess I'm left
with Geneva Blues
there was a time
back when I knew
that she was mine
one and one made two
but that was before
the hot became cool
and now there are many
where once there were few
didn't mean unkind
didn't mean cruel
but now all that's left
is Geneva Blues
tomorrow I'll say
I didn't know you
what I thought was my love
was something untrue
I'll just walk away
that's what I'll do
even if I don't know
where I'm walking to
the whole world off limits
your heart is taboo
and I'm all alone
with Geneva Blues
