frozen dominions of air
turn solid in the
tumbling tumult of the sky
frozen raindrops fall
beating tattoo on the roof
blessings flow - water
soaking barren fertile ground
golden daffodils salute
the new washed azure sky
* A choka is a long poem,
Japanese in origin, whose couplets
are arranged in the 5/7 syllable the pattern.
The final couplet is arranged in a 7/7 pattern.

some second lines have six syllables, some seven
