Tne title was the most memoriable phrase from an otherwise forgetable radio ad for a Toronto resturant. I decided to make at leaat some use of a ggrgeat line.
For some time I have been thinking of starting a new collection of general poetry. Ths will be the title poem
the poem is meant to be nonsensical -- it is also W.I.P.
The Elegant Raspberry Moose,
star of swamp, screen, and television
and the notable, potable Sunny Raccoon
noted socialite, raoonteur, and jewel thief
to the River Dancers Log Jam Ball did go
Dressed to the nines, the tens, and the elevens.
Broc Badger sawed on the fiddle
While
Castor Beaver fiddled on the saw
and
Henri Marmot
flailed away
beating the hide off his traps*
They danced all night till the set of sun
In the morning
dined they
on
Black Spruce Bagles
Moosomin Mincemeat
and Saskatoon Tea
While the river dancers danced the
Logjam shuffle
Down the Big Abitibi
All the way to Nanaimo **

A touching, loving and spirtual insight of the dying process, filled with peace, smiles and starting on their journey, taking me with them as far as I could go, returning back with something I didn't have before. Will be out early in 2010..on Kindle
“We’re going to use nine megaton warheads in space and we’re not sure they’re large enough to be effective. Why would you even consider using kiloton-range surface-to-air warheads as back-up?” The answer was succinct. “Because they’re all we have.”

What a fantastic journey your talented pen took me on! Whimsical! Magical! Deeee-lightful! Thank you, Sir.
