I cordially invite you on a trip
I’ve made myself
Quite intimidating really
If you sit upon a shelf
Exhilarating moments
Of Fear or…something else
Something I’m not sure you
Realize…
Is very hard to squelch
Should you go or stay behind?
Satisfaction guaranteed…
If you are dissatisfied
You soul, it shall be freed
A simple trip around the block
Really it shan’t take long
Or do I contradict myself?
You’ve been on it all along.
Step carefully now as you depart
Gather all your things
Remember the shelf is dusty
Do you feel that tingling?
It is the rush of living life
And taking all the risks
Play charades if you like
I’m off to book my trip.
