if that's the case, then i'm the biggest plagiarist. seventy five percent of the time, I dont remember what's going on. Every once in a while, I go back to poetry that I've written. I say to myself, "I wrote that, I made up that title, I don't remember when" go figure

you've made some very valid points, especially with the "I love you"

we all use the same words day after day. "I don't know, I forgot" (in sentences) to name a few

Some people will cry plaigiarism on anything they see to make another's life difficult.

In my few years of writing, I note that only fools who have no brains of their own would copy a poem written by another, as it is not difficult to write one on their own and be proud of it.

Hope they won't make your life miserable as some of them do prey on your weak emotions and carry on their games. I know this much...

Tinka don't let it get to you! With so many poetry sites and poets
it is impossible to not use certain phrases that someone else has used. I had a poem I was going to put up yesterday with forest in the title and just before I posted it, saw almost the exact title and was so surprised. I didn't post and will put it up with a different title later. The poem was totally different, but I'm only using this as an example of how we can be unjustly accused of stealing other peoples ideas etc innocently. Just keep writing your great poetry Tinks!

You would have to live at the computer stealing poems from others to produce the number of poems you do, Tinka, and with those numbers, if this were true, you would have been busted long ago. Some people have no life and in order to have something to do, become busybodies and cause others grief. Kick her sorry butt to the curb, Tinka and keep on writing.

Plagiarism isn't the copying of ones works, but claiming that anothers works are copied. Tell them to take a flyin *&%$ on a gallopin goose Tinka. You pen your heart and to hell with those who can't handle it
