"Lingering Thoughts"
Among violets so sweet
I stand
Thoughts lingering
Lightning…
Tripping on lines of thunder
Winking blinking lights high above
Dancing…
To heavenly music
And through eyes
Filled with flaming passion
Thoughts linger along
With a heart broken once too often Lord
As thunder roar… eyes explore
Seeking love that lasts forever more
Heavens above electrifying hot like me
And as lightning trips once again
A smile slowly creeps upon my face
As thoughts linger…WHAM!!
There you where…standing there
With a big smile upon your face
In good ‘proportion”…
I started to giggle
This time I tripped myself
As I try to hug you tenderly
Lost my balance
Fell to the ground
Eyes filled with passion
As we kiss the pain away
Eyes close
Down came the night
As we continue a lovers fight
Lingering thoughts no more
Among violet so sweet
But within a dream so sweet!!
