“In Pouring Rain”

I walked my beach alone today

A shadow covers me

Then

Down came pouring rain

From this single dark cloud above

And I hope it washes away

This inner pain I feel

Silver lines from high above

Falling down

From heaven glove

Like fisher mans lines

One by one

Reflecting the color of the sun

Splashing down in dry sand

Just to disappear again

Making little balls of sand

Then just rolls away…never to stay

Water now dripping from my face

I lick my lips

To drink the drops of Gods Heavenly Grace

I walk my beach in pouring rain

Mind far away…not insane

Washing my soul in pouring rain

A reflection of life in every silvery line

Bathing Spirit

So divine

Swaying in whispering wind

Those silver lines now on the deck

Reflecting motion of the ocean

Silver lines from high above

Keeps shining…oh so bright

As they fall from heaven with love

Rain does look like silver strands in the light, until it collapses into rain drops, only to spread out as water, the gentle water of life. I can feel it, cool, against your skin.

You and I on the same page today--pouring rain. We understand the storms, don't we?
