Shaped to perfection I a ball of golden lust Yellow Orange of mine Juicy and nice Like nectar in my throat I am thirsty and so in need My thirst in flowing love With your golden liquid A little sour not too sweet Yellow golden fruit of life Orange yellow fruit Nectar juicy and gold Golden delicious treat Mello Yellow Orange Of gold Press to perfection in my hand Embraced in that yellow skin Peel it and feel it To kill that nagging thirst Orange delight…
Your poem takes me back to my Berkeley, California days, where on a hot summer's day or night, customers stood in block long lines, just to buy an "Orange Julius" a thick, creamy, milkshake like drink made from fresh oranges, that was pure luscious delight! It also makes me think of ... oh well, LOL! Good job, Tinka!
You catch the reader unaware with this lighthearted ditty that cools and refreshes just by reading it. Thanks for bringing some Vitamin C into our day.
Tinka, I missed your background songs1 Lol! Damn, I'm never going to look at an orange the same way again. Golden ball of lust ... ahem ... Only you, Tinka!!! Lol.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
