*************

Deepest Love

Nourish this tired heart
For it will stay a mystery
Why love burns inside
In silence and in fear
As I tuck away another tear
That mocks me with feelings so deep
For the love I hold so very dear
Oh! God it makes me weep
I feel so cold and restless tonight
In this moist air of sleeplessness
Not knowing how long it will last
Before it gets stolen in a silent moment
As I get closer to my midnight hour
The tears in the chambers of my heart
Dripping with time
Here in this place deep inside
That secret place so deep
That yearns for you my love
Anything can happen here
As we are at mercy of fate
No one will ever understand this pain
This heart has to endure
While gazing at horizons not near

A beauty, Tinka, the flow superb. Oozes from the page. The art expresses that longing, looking out to the horizon, the roses yet unbloomed...Lin

You do bittersweet oh, so well, Tinka - and the music is a good enhancement, too. Great recital of One Eye Blind - it is SUCH a powerful theme and very well-expressed. I really catch that line about "one eye blind leading me back to myself" - like the pointing finger-thing. Very well done on all fronts! Thank you, yes, I am rallying... LOL Kate xx

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
