Tinka, alone is some times what the doctor ordered. Enjoy your solituded as much as your company. If you didn't have time alone, how would you write your beautiful poetry? Hmmm?

Alone doesn't have to be lonely if you love yourself enough to enjoy your own company. I have been single and living alone for so many years, that I could say I am used to it, but instead I will say, the times when I felt the most loneliness were when I had another person in my life and yet, it was as though they were a shell where I was concerned. Approaching them was like stepping into an icy abyss and it would make my soul ache, tearing at every shred of self-respect and self worth I had ever mustered. So in fact, I decided to live alone so that I would not feel lonely anymore...if this doesn't make sense, I understand since, it seems backwards in a way. Knowing a bit of your situation, from what you have written here, I am guessing that you live in that kind of loneliness- unwanted but never free. I hope that in the New Year you will find the strength to walk away from all that and take your life back, learn to live, love and become the source of your own happiness. It is hard to respect our self when we stay in a bad situation for all the wrong reasons. May the blessings of Christmas rain upon you and guide you into the light.
