"My Sweet Valentine” As the green woods Laugh with a voice of joy And the pools are bright and deep Where the bees suck their honey That’s what I want to be When I want to go to bed at night Under the green wood tree of love That is where I feel free When the shades of night are falling The sun goes down And leave the hilltops alone All gold was gone White stars fall gently The moon shines clear and silver And the poetry of earth speaks to me Rivers rush down to sea As the night Was creeping slowly on the ground The summer breeze so gently blow I hear the breaking waves dashing high My thoughts are gentle Tranquility covers me I close my eyes and I touch love As I touch you My love
I am a butt man myself, so this young lady in the picture does nothing for me, though there always fantasy...a happy V-day to you young lady...peace, ed & rufuz
Thank you Tinka your love always fills the den with the fragrance of natures bounty. I could crawl right into that graphic and not only just because of the girl.
You show your finest suit again in this descriptive and atmospheric romantic poem
Tranquility is indeed a blessing, and you communicate a sense of idyllic pleasure in this excellent write Tinks !
This is a great beginning to my evening's reviews !
The picture is very appropriate and fitting

You create a Midsummer Night's bower for us here, Tinka, with all the grace and delicacy of Titania and Oberon... even though it is only February and bloody chilly here in Merry England. This has the tone and lore of English Folk, Tinka, and makes me think garlands and sweet Loving Cups. Bless you - a true community Valentine if ever there was one! Happy Day to you too! TY Kate xx
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
love and piece...Carole
I believe it truly does, Tinky, and Happy Valentine's Day to you.
Take care,
Sherry
