"All Misty Eyed"

She woke this morning

All misty eyed and with a deep frown

One look in the mirror

Says: Oh I hate being here right now

How will I get through this day?

Without losing my temper

Or killing someone

Who cares to step upon her darkened mood

Songs of “The Moody Blues”

Allow tears to flow freely

Misty mood touch deep within

Moods of depression...moods of longing

Take hold of her every heartbeat

Thump-thump-thump

Like beating drums in her ears

She can feel anxiety’ grow

Can you feel what she is feeling right now?

Being imprisoned by such misty moods

Feeling pissed off at the self

Misty eyed she woke this morning

Misty eyed she went back to bed

To take a nap trying to forget

To kill time that’s running out

In hope to shake this misty mood

To dream about rays of sun

Melting away the misty thoughts

Until misty moonlight by night

Fall upon her misty eyes

And those sandy shores of love

That can change her misty mood so easily

Just by smiling right back at her

As she carry on ranting and complaining

He will always make her see

It’s only a process of healing

But would never judge her

Just gives her one more moment to breath

And a reason to survive

These Misty moods of Life

A prescription for misty moods: a walk a day and a nap a day.
Eat healthy foods and get enough rest.
Too simple, right? Try it, you'll like it!
Hope the mist dissipates soon.

... Glad I didn't Misty this one, Tinks!! Is it me or does this appeal to the little girl in me, in one of them... "I am just gonna lie in the supermarket shopping aisle and kick my legs and damn-well scream if I have to buy another bag of dog biscuits, let alone put another meal on the family table"... Yeah, I thought so... just me then. THANK GOD for those Misty Shores of Love, huh??? ..... Makes sense of all those Misty Moments of Other Life... Could SHOUT this one!! :)) LOL K xx

Moody days, who needs them anyway. I try to remind myself at times like this that either I must control my attitude or it is going to control me. I can usually turn my frown into a smile with very little coaxing, I hope you can too.
Take care,
Sherry

Our lives are so fragile and abundant with those little things that sway us one way or another. It's those times when all is well and in harmony and filled with light that we all strive and hope for.

Too bad they don't come more often. A good honest write Tinks. Your specialty!
