I smile with the sun
With every beat of my heart
Rhythms and Rhymes
Preoccupy my days
From the start
Metaphors flow
Adjectives and nouns
I extract within the space
Of my passing thoughts
As others go unheard.

Lines and rhymes
I shout into the wind
Searching for wisdom
In the wilderness of dispair
Love's broken heart
Hides in wait
somewhere along
The darkest fare.

Within the moonbeams
My soul yields
It's eternal flame
Fading the silvery glow
Of a pale blue moon
As the assassin's dawn
Engulfs her whole.

Oh boy don't I know this feels. I have been told that the great musical composers (people like Mozart, Beethoven etc.) all 'heard' music. I know what it is to 'hear' (in the inner sense) rhythm and rhyme. Once upon a time, your sanity was doubted if this was the case.
Your poem is great! Thanks
