There was a sunset, last evening
But I failed, to see it's glory
A hurricane was blocking
My view
To the loveliness, of it's descend.

Now it's pitch darkness
And I find myself
Searching blindly, for matches
So I can, light myself a path
To a candle.

Even as I am choking
In darkness
My Mind
Is my only True Light
Where I can still dream.

This is a meaningful write, William. Hold on to your dreams and your ability to have new ones! Even in the blackness of a hurricane.
