Sleepless Passion

As a soft Golden Glow She appeared Within his dreams Searching Through ashen passions Within dying embers. His mind and soul Willingly embrace her Welcomed her presence Holding her through The chill of the night. A soul's host Was unable to appreciate Her wanting needs She had been, But an intrusion Within a resting dream. Unable to rest He waited sleeplessly Begging the night to end As he waited, the tentacles Of a new sun's rays Appearing along the horizon's Way.
