****To all my friends at The Den
Today I posted my first ever "Story" at The Den, Please read****

Blest thoughts
~~~~*~~~~~
Woke up upset a bit
A week has past
Since inspiration struck
Times goes nowhere
Its' stopped in place
We are the one's
That need moving on
We're the time travelers
Just
When I thought
Inspiration abandon my songs
I looked into a crowd
Glancing, from the front, side to side
Way out to the outer rim
Not realizing
I do most well
With discarded faces
At the razor's edge
The fringes of society
That fine line
Between civilization and that man
In soft cloth
Crying out in the wildernes
All that's necessary
Is the sharpening, of one's thoughts
Lubricating the memory banks
Of the most precious computer
The Human brain
For the world, dwells within it.
Great last lines conclude this thought-provoking poem. Congrats on the story (on my way to read it). I hope your muse has returned.
Very true...I have come to reason that at times our minds need a rest period and like anything else there are so many factors in life that can affect our feelings and thoughts. Excellent poem! ~Z~
Ah, the mysterious human brain... which came first, brain or mind?
Very nice write, William. The world of the poet's fringe element is where creativity's Light burns.
Best,
Carolyn
