I dreamt of a well, dried
Ink like sand
A plume
Laying on the ground
The dust weighing it down.
A soul arid of love
Dozing off at a desk
Without inspiration
Just plain old trying
His imagination.
Thunder awakens him
A blest storm tried
Not even the lightning
Carried words
So the heavens cried
Tear drops falling
Yet, not from his eyes.
Rolling thunder
Played the field bass
Disappearing
Towards the west
Leaving a great distance
Renewed and wet.
I dreamt a dream
Or did a dream
Dreamt me?
I feel so lost
My muse hides
Deep from
Conceptive reach
Through
Faded black memories.
Am I
Dreaming of you?
Or are you
Dreaming of me?
Is it your lips, I taste
Or the nectars
Of the God's
That stains my mouth?
As you travel
Through the corridors
Of time.
I need you
Here in my now
To feel you alive
Words block me from you
Words I've yet created
To place on lines
To level the meaning
Of time.
Verses converge upon you
incarcerating you
Until Wisdom and Knowledge
Yields
To my purification
Of rhythms and rhymes.

I dreamt a dream
Or did a dream
Dreamt me?
..hmm..I am convinced that dreams dream us..and I have nothing against that concept..

Keep digging for that elusive muse, William; the results are entirely worth the effort. Much enjoyed this write.

Such a beautiful relationship you have with your passion for writing! With your poetry. Absolutely amazing, William! You envoke me like that, I'll come running, William ... chuckles.
These past few weeks
Have been like a cup of sand for me
between lack of though my same old grumblings
about pain and traveling
nothing worst then traveling
when one is not feeling good
this contributive piece,
was born out of a severe tooth ache
(An emergency extraction) that felt good
during an electrical storm
