What can I write about today?
So many thouhgts traveling
Through my mind, coming my way
I am unable To select
A subject from the air
To see if any words
I can compare.

I try to decipher meanings
So I may scribe
A few lines
I can care less if any
Rhyme
Just allow me
To write some times.

I feel no rhythm
Within me, no want
My thoughts are bland
As a broth without salt
My mind is drying.

Verses are piling up
sky high
All in disarray
Not in any know order
Nor in any writer's way.

Meaningless at this time
Like within a junk yard
I'll have to roll up my sleeves
And sort them out
like the slaves bringing in the sheaves.

To sort out words gleaned
from my thoughts
One at a time
anagram them, within my mind
For me to present to you
In meaningful constructive
Compositions
I wish for you to read
What I am Attempting
To relate.

Once my plume
Strikes the blank parchment
Awaiting my thoughts to unfold
Before your worthy review
Sorry my dear friends
But this is all I have
To offer you, at the now.

sometimes poets become unfocused to reevaluate and reconstitute their muse ... in this poem, you seem to be searching and rethinking yours ...

Sounds like a long walk midst the trees to take some fresh air might help clear the cobwebs, my friend. Like this write very much; hits home for those afflicted by that writing inclination... Well penned, William, as always.
Peace and Blessings,

That is when instinctive writing clicks in.
Kinda like brain storming, only I need to find a brain.
Any offers...
Shucks you don't need to appologise just cos it's an awful poem..lol (only kidding, like my goat does when giving birth)

We all offer what we pen at the time, William, and although you may not believe it, your plume has struck parchment in a most interesting way.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
