As Passion Sleeps



I snuggled
To the warmness
Of her soft tender body
As she so peacefully slept
I whispered a morning greeting
Uttering about clouds covering
The sky.

Awake my loveliness
Let’s face another day
Allow me to witness
The rising sun
Upon the beautiful smile
Of your angelic face
To ease the gloom
Converging upon the coming
Of anther noon.

The sweetness that laces
Your heavenly lips
I wish to savor upon mine
Breathe into me
The sensuousness
Of your divine breath
So I may inhale
Those burning desires
Within your soul
Awakening your passionate
Thoughts.

Engulf me deeply
Into the secure warmth
Of your embrace
Guide me
Into the true senses
Of the divine dreams
Of our most passionate desires.
