The Web Of Desires

She weaves
A sensuous web
Of desires,
The Widow does.

To satisfy her pangs
Of hunger
She spins her web
To trap and deceive
Ensnaring
Those listed upon
Her menu.

Those who fly or dare
enter Into her dwelling
Will be warmly welcome
With a venomous dozed cocktail.

She'll graciously wrap them
Like the great
hostess She is
In unfashionable silk.

Providing temporary
Accommodations
Until the feast ends
And the guest, passes on
To a better world,
Heaven.

Or if her mate
Unfortunately lingers
A wee too long
She'll not send him home
For he's destine
To sooth Her
hunger pangs of desires
