Full Moon At Dusk It's warm in April In the blossoming south It's evening The sunset I missed I was busy with chores Tired seeking rest To ease my mind. I stumble into My lovely enclosed garden Dusk is shrouding What beauty is left Of this cooling Day's ending The sky still A baby blue A unique full moon Staring down on me Keeping me company Too early To be fully appreciated Wish I had a cigarette And in my other hand A warm double bourbon But I no longer indulge. So I just sink into A patio rocking chair Seeping my black Sweet coffee. I feel my eyelids Are overtaking my senses sinking fast Goodnight dear friends. By: William Bonilla D'Artagnan 04/09/2017 ��

This is one beautiful poem...I sensed ever single word...
And I tasted the sweet coffee!
I loved the sky of 'baby blue',
And the full Moon keeping you company...
This is my kind of poetry! And definitely one for my library...

This is a good poem, it's funny all the way through to the end.

Sipping that coffee sure got you sleepy. And that was the mood of the whole poem. You certainly have a way of writing a pale moon mood like that very well.
