Sometimes
~~~~~*~~~~~
Sometimes
I want to sit down
Relax
Thinking of a beautiful
Romantic poem
To create about you
Scribing it upon
Virgin parchment.
Sometimes
I just want to stare
At a lovely picture
Of you
Dreaming of holding You
Within a tender
Loving Embrace.
Sometimes
I think about you
While walking along
A country lane
Closing my eyes
As I inhale
The sweet perfumes
Of wild flowers
As when along this path
We walked holding hands
Whispering
To each other
Sweet loving words
Once upon a time.
ONCE UPON A TIME, WHEN FILLED WITH SUCH AMOROUS THOUGHTS, IS A FINE 'TREASURE' TO THINK ABOUT...SOMETIMES. THANKS FOR SHARING, WILLIAM. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
There you go again Bill, speaking of someone "out of school" as it were, but doing so with the language of love & romance...-e-
Lucky woman whoever she is. A lovely poem on a dreary, rainy day.
And that path named "Once upon a time"
is always too bittersweet for me.
So well said, Bill.
Writing to your love with much reminiscence. I hope you can still do that today.
I'd certainly like to get a hold of some of that virgin parchment. Haven't seen any of it around since biblical times. ;-) Or, at least since Gutenberg started printing on paper.
