An Angel Or A Saint
~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~
I struggle
To describe the Goddess
Like image before me
I’m unable to conjure
Words to create
A song, a melody
Nor an ode
Within the archives
Of my mind.
As her lovely graying hair
Melts like pure silver
Down to her shoulders
Crowning an angelic
Beautiful face
Heavenly saintly eyes
Reflects only innocence
Soft tender lips
Form a smile
mysterious
As Mona Lisa’s
That brightens the world
Only witnessed
In Elysian.
HMMM, WELL, I BELIEVE THAT WE'RE ALL SAINTS. SO...ONLY YOU CAN SAY AS TO WHETHER OR NOT SHE'S A ANGEL, BUT I'M THINKING YOU'VE ALREADY DECIDED(SMILE). THANKS FOR THE SHARE, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATION
May she always be within your view. I, too, am gifted with the presence of womanly beauty every day and am so thankful for it.
William,
So good to read your poetry again! We have all been absent so maybe it's time to get back into writing again.
I have missed your golden pen!
Peace, love and light,
Amber
You painted a beautiful picture, and a picture is worth a thousand words.
Lovely penmanship, William. Your description is not lacking in wonderful, well-expressed writing.
For someone who opens the poem with the struggle to describe, you did a pretty good job of it. Well done.
