Relaxing After diner, I was,
Enjoying the news,
What happened, like a flash,
I was not amused.

He shot, past me,
With lightning speed,
A cute little mouse,
A mouse, in my house.

I knew not, what to do,
Never had a mouse,
Invade, my cozy house,
So I, chased him, all over the house.

Cornered him, in a small room,
He laid exhausted, unable to move,
found him, at my mercey,
So I, lowered my broom,
Gently.

Held him, in place,
Grabbed him, by the tail,
Placed him, in an empty aquarium,
Purchased him, a running trail.

I call him "Flash",
The house mouse,
That dared,
To invade, my cozy house.
