Why Me?

Why must I wake,
To this hideous face?
Next to others,
It seems out of place.

Why me, oh Lord, why me?
Why must I walk, with a burden?
Why must I carry this load?
A hunch on my back.

Why me, oh Lord, why me?
When people see me, on the streets,
Stones and insults,
They throw at me.

Why me, oh Lord, why me?
Why was I named "Quasimodo,"
Everyday I pray, For no more sorrow,
Please don't let me wake up,
To another tomorrow.

Hey William, You write had some wonderful messages in it. I always look to people as really being the same. But of course we are not! Compassion for others is very noble. Even those who hate US!!!!
