A Taste Of Freedom

The sweet nectars,
Of truth and wisdom,
Strain,
Through desert sands.

Righteous thoughts,
Evaporate,
Into the arid air,
Where loyalty is despair.

Passions stirs,
The savgae beast,
Within the heart, of mortal men,
Where ever,
The taste of freedom dares.

Once the silent alarm,
Sounds,
Wanting, neither freedom,
Nor war.

The masses appear,
From hidings unknown,
Suddenly,
Full of courage and vigor.

The law, they take,
Upon themselves,
Forging, mob rule,
From a chaotic state,
Of confusion.

Where Once Again
The law, of the gun rules,
Spilling blood,
Onto desert sands.

Hey William, WEll written, as always. I still disagree on the WAR because we lost 130 or more of our own. They still have not found any weapons of horror. I don't think they ever will. Why do we and the British have to be Earth's police?

In this day of instant everything and automatic reactions, we must realize that these changes take time, our own history shows just how long it has taken to change from oppressed to the free.

Very straight forward and direct. I like how you go from calm to chaos so seemlessly. J.
