I've told my grandchildren that poems don't have to rhyme.

They look at me as if I have lost my mind.

Poems grandma""do have to rhyme!"

"I tell you that all the time.

 While thinking of a poem that could make time.

They looked at me like I committed a crime.

As you can see this poem written by me,

With great thought I said,""look and see""

I did make a poem and gave it a rhyme.

I told them that from now on I'd make time.

To listen to them and not go against their judgement.

Just in case I have to pay with punishment.
