~Summer Nights~

Summer nights are finally here

Friends, boating and fun

Good times in the sun

So much energy around

Maybe from always getting down

Sometimes acting like clowns

Guys are fishing all day and night

Of course, they are wishing

More coolers of beer would appear

Never fear a wife is always near

They will do the cooking

While the husbands are looking

At the T.V of course

Thinking life couldn’t be better

Now all they need is a little cheddar

To put on top of their chili dog

It is the only way to go

So now you all know?

After the clock strikes nine

It is the wives time to shine

Done with chores and ready to grind

They might even loose their mind

Surprise them with a little romance

Hold them close and slow dance

Now that all the kids are down

It’s the best time for women all around

They finally punch out for the night

Then they are off for a flight

The evenings of summer are serene

Let’s open another cold beer

And be excited summer is finally here
