~CLOSURE~ Had the most amazing dream last night My father came to me and hugged me tight Finally felt closure for his tragic lonely death Gabriel was there when he took his last breath Holding his hand and telling him not to be afraid My father told me that he was ready to leave I felt it was really him, and now I truly believe His body was a shell the day I found him His soul was already soaring in the light No more pain, only pure heavenly delight I know now he didn’t take his own life It wasn’t the pain pills I found on the floor Heart Failure just came knocking on his door © Copyright 2010 Chessly Lynn Nesci

I'm so happy that your dad is communicating with you. My dad does that too from time to time. I feel relieved that my dad is now in a happy place.

I am happy for you Chessly. Because you now have closure. That does not mean you will forget. It just means that you now now your Dad died under the hand of GOD.

Most fathers, including myself, have a special bond with our daughters. We often tend to let down our macho ways that we were taught to use with sons etc and as a result a rare closeness develops. At least that is what I believe. So yes this story is all too real for I believe no father would want his little girl going through life wondering why...

Nicely expressed poetry! It is your dream and NO one can take that away. You are special and God made you that way! Dreams are The Lords way of telling us that all is well. Chessly, as writers, you and me, we are able to say things, to write things that others may or may not believe. But you... you have knack of saying things, of writing things that I somehow think to be from your life or from the ones that your life evolves around, and so much of what you say of what you write I find myself hoping is pure fiction coming from the mind of a writer... but so often I do not believe this to be pure fiction.
