This is about overcoming dispair, learning to look forward to the sunshine, the dawning of a new day and the excitement that comes with it.

IN SEARCH OF TOMORROW

Life is all about enjoyment,
about seeking the greatest pleasure.
The greatest number of positives
should be the final measure.

For such a long time
I had been seeking my tomorrow,
trying to get through the day,
living beyond the sorrow.

Life had no real meaning,
the bottom had dropped out.
I simply carried on,
not really caring what it was all about.

I was on my own,
had been for a number of years,
making no commitments,
because of unknown fears.

The world was passing me by,
yet it had very little meaning,
several potential partners
couldn’t pass my screening.

I wasn’t so much looking to replace
the love that I had lost,
as trying to get to the other side
indifferent to the potential cost.

It seems that life moves on
as we continue to progress.
We either figure out what’s right,
or we make an educated guess.

Some how it all worked out,
if only by happenstance
and suddenly I realized
I’d been given another chance.

I met a wonderful new friend,
who rejuvenated the longing.
Finally, after all these years
she created a feeling of belonging.

She had given me new hope
and I somehow got the impression
that it’s no longer temporary,
it’s became a life long session.

The Steel Chains of Love by Rose Rideout

I have taken pride in writing this novel as so many people have the wrong impression on bikers because they dress in leather clothing which is to protect themselves in case of an accident. The majority of bikers are known Policemen, Firemen, Doctors,
