Ten Years & Counting - 9/11

TEN YEARS AND COUNTING
9/11
 
No single historical event I call to mind
has the far reaching affects of 9/11…..
 
Certainly many have been more costly….. 
in lives,
            in financial losses,
            as well as time,,,,,
 
But few (if any) have had such
            immediate,,,,,
            and profound,,,,,
            and far reaching affect……
 
Few which would shape the future of every ….
            large gathering from that day forward,,,,
             
Few that would change completely,
            the way we view mass transportation,,,,,
             
Few that would change completely
            the way we view the world,,,,,,,
 
In every way imaginable,
            9/11 has changed the ways of the world.
 
FOR NOW AND EVERMORE…….

Each and every 'tragedy' sends lives spinning off into a new and frightening direction whether it's of the magnitude of 9/11 or the less publicized loss of a single loved one.

Well done Dick but a few other dates do come to mind, the dropping of the bomb at Hiroshima, Pearl Harbour, the assanations but still as a neighbour to our big brother in the south I admire the ability of the American people to bounce back...

Amen! There was also a lot of human kindness and compassion that fateful day as well...for thousands of stranded passengers, the world opened their arms and at least for a little while brotherly love was shared! We'll never forget!

"They" keep telling me that I must love my enemy. F**k that. I hate those who want to harm America, whether they are in a desert somewhere in the Middle East, or whether they are in the halls of congress or the White House.
