Oh you were such a beautiful baby,
and it's no maybe.
This was during a time when
innocence was pure,
sweet candy was the cure.
Before the world inflicted your mind,
when life was fresh baked and kind.
Like fresh baked chocolate chips,
no guns or mean old whips.
Your only toy was a rattle,
and you didn't have to battle.
I can't even remember back that far,
but I wish on a star.
Would you like to swing on star,
bring baby dreams from afar,
or would you rather be an adult,
living in this crazy world of insult.
I love being grown,
but I wish all the horror wasn't known.
So mean old devil be gone,
leave us alone,
let us go back to innocent times,
and forget all the adult crimes.
Goo goo da da,
quit beating ma ma.
