I'm a Bigger Pain

We can be our own worse enemy if we don't fight our darkside, And everyone has one, some more than others.

Sometimes life is a pain
sometimes others are a pain
sometimes family is a pain
sometimes my wife is a pain
sometimes my job is a pain
but I am a bigger pain

My darkside follows in shadow
even as I try to relax in the meadow
I can't run I can't hide
I know that I'm in for the ride
I buckled my seatbelt
a long time ago
got use to the other side
that I know

My other side likes to play
it will each and everyday
It will spend all my money
especially if the day is sunny
At times life can be intense
trying to control my daily expence

If we were honest with ourselves, most of us (poets)would have to admit to that 'darkside' you describe so well.

Cheers,
Dan
