My wife and I are both off today,
she supposedly took off to be with me on my off day.

This morning she looked at me,
then said, "you do your thing and I'll do mine."
This is when I thought, "well why did she take off on my time?"
I could have been by myself,
with myself.

I thought the little boy and girl,
was going to go for a swirl.
Looks like the little boy,
got to redeploy,
for his own joy.

This being together as one,
will have you on the run,
if you fall for that philosophical balony,
I'm getting on my own pony.

Riding into the sunrise,
then return in the sunset,
with no together regret.

My wife told me, "you don't dictate to me."
so I grabbed my little red riding toy key.

However

It's nice when you can share,
with plenty of love to spare.

But in the meantime,
I'm on my own time.
