blank page
empty stare
still looking
but where
first pen
shaking hand
next page
other hand
late night
perfect quiet
long distant
early light
second pen
I'll write

I can relate to this so well...

Great write, I could never just sit and write, if not inspired, at that moment, I am not searching my soul.

:) Yeah, Chester!! Love it! One thing I never do is open a blank page without a thought, then it either flows, or self-destructs...many blank pages are opened in the shower, or the car, or in some child-free events, and are lost forever as themselves, but work their way back into the picture as something else, that cooperates with itself, and me...ha, do you see why??! One moments thought is worth a thousand words!!
