I am so tired..
of thinking and feeling..
The thoughts bring me down..
These feeling keep me around..
I am a prisoner of my own past..
I am a prisoner of my heart..
The minute I gave birth..
There was no turning back..
One look into their eyes
I knew I would have to stay..
Ohh God, what am I to do?
People depend on me to be so strong
Yet I feel I do not belong..
Why must I always be the strength?
Sometimes I feel so weak..
I want only to fall into eternal sleep.
But what of my sons?
I cannot leave them like this..
They would have to live their lives
Knowing I chose to leave..
Chose to die..
So I am trapped..
.....by the love in their eyes.
That is so wonderful. What a 'love'ly poem for your sons. That's something that should most definately be shared and not kept most secret ;) This is excellant.
