I try to break away Make a new beginning.. Tomorrow is another day .. so they say.. Forgive and forget or let it eat you from the inside.. Listen they say we know what life is all about.. We are wiser and we are older You will see it our way.. When you have grown into a young lady someday.. So I tried and I tried.. I prayed and I prayed.. To forget all the pain forgive all the wrongs.. To just let it go into the wind like a lost song.. Ahhh, Freedom I thought.. Making my soul light.. Ahhh but they forgot to tell me memories return on there own in the night To forgive I can do.. I do not want the fight.. but to forget is something.. I cannot quite get right.. How do I forget what comes to me at night.. when my mind is weak and my souls in fright. How do I forget.. what God has not taught me yet? How? Erica

... there is emense depth, and universal emotion in your work. forgiveness is a gift we give ourselves to save our sanity, and release ourselves from the power others have to inflict pain; forgetting is something that only happens when other memories fill our minds. one note: 'there' is a place; 'their' is ownership.

Time will ease all pain. New memories will supersede the olds, pleasant will override the unpleasant. At least that's how I'm living my life.
