My Mind A Blaze

Within my mind is a fiery blaze
beneath the depth that none can see
what is really within me..
to far hidden behind a haze for anyone to see..
I must try to be happy with my world..
I try to avoid how I really feel..
I know I am losing my strength
and my power...
but what choice do I have..
To end it.. would make me a coward..
My soul is filled with scars..I face..
The scars from a past
that cannot be erased..
Everyday. my soul feels hollow..
As if I die each night ..
then must wake tomorrow..
I see the blackness..
yet I feel the light..
So I try to reach through my mind.
to make things right...
But my heart is cold and heavy..
I want to run.. to fly away..
but my mind knows it has to stay..
I do not wish to remember the past..
I will not grow with hate..
I will fight..I will debate..
I will leave it all up to fate..
Through life I stumble..
Through life.. I fight..
I duel with myself..
day and night..
I just do not want this blaze.
raging in my brain..
I only want love.. memories.
without the pain..

A pain from the past cannot be sewn with future bliss. This is the message I received unconciously and I know it so well. This was a beautiful, ugly, poem ;) (Not meant badly... it was an ugly feeling written beautifully.)

Happy New Year!!

Build these memories day by day for the rest of your life ... and you will be alright. Ginger ... you have so much to share with the world. You pick the way you want to go and head in that direction. Who knows who you may find and what you may see when you reach the end. Lots of love I hope. Bill Murray
