So I was your star
Always shining bright..
but you only took notice
on the darkest of nights..
I was always here for you..
Even on the sunniest of days..
but again you were to busy to notice..
or were you afraid?
I spent so long waiting
then you turned your back on me..
Only to come back ..
with desperate needs.
I wish you had looked at me..
Under bright sunny skies..
then perhaps you would have noticed..
the mist in my eyes..
The tears that I shed..
Are for all that you had missed..
You lost your shining star..
The one always by your side..
because your never took the time..
to see the love in my eyes.
