I cannot swim in this water
of life much longer..
I swim I fight..
with all my might..
I am drowning in
this sea of life..
Don't pull me out..
Let me be..
Let my lungs fill with ecstasy..
I am tired of fighting all the tides..
Tired of life and of it's lies..
Life is what you make of it..
Don't say it again!!
We do not get out of life
what we always put in..
So let me out..
Let me drown..
On this earth
I no longer want
to be bound..

very mournful. Hope you dont need to surrender m'dear.
Erica, this was good but sad. You are correct, life is not always what we make of it. It just is the way it is. The only thing we can ulitmately control is what we let our minds do to us.

Sometimes, only through surrender do we find clemency.
