I hear the wind
outside my door..
But know it
is the sound
of your wings
as they soar..
Back up to heaven..
where you must be..
Until my heart
needs you..
And you feel it
Instinctively
Somehow..
Then you are back
by my side..
Encased within
your wings..
Wings as strong
as steel.
Yet soft as down..
Holding me..
Touching me..
Caressing me..
Erasing the pain..
With the tenderness of
your heaven sent wings..
This love we have..
not of the flesh..
so much deeper than
earthy pleasure..
It is a timeless
love of the soul..
A love we have shared
from lifetimes ago..
We wait for our time..
to be united once again..
You are brilliance..
You are radiance..
Serenity..
Wisdom..
Contentment..
my destiny..
Our lives
intermingled
Though lifetimes
Through centuries..
And when your time comes..
You know that
you must leave..
I hear the
distant sound
of thunder..
And know my angle
cries for me.

Dear Erica, So lovely! Both You, and the Poem. I want your happiness to last forever. It will come to You.
Erica, special poem for an angel looking over you. You have good friends Erica. Lucky woman. Such a dichotomy, hurt in way most of us cannot fathom and cared for in a way others rarely get to know.
Love

Only an angel could have written it.
