This is a poem about being held captive by love that comes from deep within the heart.
I lie next to him, my legs tangled in his, my body close to him; I have been his slave for three years now. He has never beaten me, or raised his voice in anger to me, nor has he forced me in any way to stay; yet, still, I am a slave; giving in to his every whim, whether it be physical, or laborious. I am held only by my love for him, those chains of love that are stronger than my desire to be free. I am a slave.
Just look at this.. Such raw energy and honesty. I could say..on a helping note...maybe display the poem in a central font. Such a great poem needs plenty of airing..keep writing. Alot!!
