We are nomads. We are the desert Lords
We adhere so much to traditional values
Raising camel is one job we well know
Other ocupations? We just look them down
Our men handle not metal works
They don't hit nails to drive them in
They don't make shoes for themslves
Not even do they repair them
They don't fix steel or lay a railway
They are the Lords, not the servants
Pity jobs fit not their status
On top, always they stay
Never shall they go down
Their Camel is their pride
The more the herd is large
the more power they vested in
And the more fear they evoke
Change, they support it not
change heralds deep uncertainty
They see it as a dangerous enemy
It threatens their Lordship Throne
It may introduce the light of education
But without ignorance they can't see or lead
They are the Lords of the dessert
They are the shadows of poverty.
This is so wise and powerful. I agree with Eileen's comments below. Have you published. I would wish for you a wide distribution of your work and believe it has the potential to reach those who are even a little open to looking at themselves and their relation to the larger picture.
You have spoken truths that are not easy to accept.
Many will be upset by this, but it is the truth that
sets us free, and if more people practiced it the
world would have less ignorance, and more peace.
