Lack of government in Somalia has become the centre point of evil in this country. Local merchants who created man-made famine in our nation destroyed the forests. Foreigners are dumping what is believed to be nuclear wastes in our seas thus causing tremendous havoc on the rich marine resources living in our bountiful ocean. As we eat fish caught from these waters, we gradual develop health problems which lead to a devastating consequence to our future. Not only that but nations in our vicinity and the world at large could also be a victim of this dirty business.
I share life with you brother
No matter where you are or live
We are intricately interdependent
If one of us spoils the environment
The other cannot expect to exist long
We shall all perish, take last breath
Avoid dumping wastes in our seas
Not only Somalis shall be affected
But a large-scale affliction shall take place
Please stop poisoning us once and for all
There are what is referred to as "Barrels Of Pain" in the San Francisco Bay, also. They were dumped there many years ago and have been leaking ever since. It does ruin so much and I wonder how many of the "new diseases" of mankind and animals are the direct or indirect result of this senseless dumping. There is no room on the planet for nuclear waste, so it is best to stop with the use of nuclear everything now. Plutonium has a 250,000-year half-life...what will be left then and will any humans have survived its poisonous rage?

Abdi Noor, I wrote on this same subject awhile back. I do believe it is having and will have a detrimental effect on all humanity in time, not to mention the sea life. I hope and pray this ignorant practice will stop. We must all keep writing to the governments of nations we know do this. Sadly not enough people care. My prayers continue!
