There is no doubt that CHANGE taken to the right direction, is the essence of development. I am fascinated by the high level of progress Europe has reached in the fields of both material and human development and I feel inspired to closely study the philosophy of change to be able to replicate it to Somalia and to the underdeveloped nations worldwide. This is just a wish and I hope it shall materialize. People with high ideals have high dreams and I am one of them.
How does change come into being?
Does it come from outside or from within?
Can a change take place without our change of mind?
Are we part of the process Or are we just drifting away with winds of change?
Do we have to change with a changing world?
Or the world should change with our changing life?
Are we free to change our life or God has to decide for us to change?
Should change come from top or should it take place in the bottom?
To make a change where do we start first?
Excellent write Abdi Noor,with superb questions! Change only comes when enough people unite to form a strong enough force to make people listen.That's only the beginning. Then comes the hard work of honing the agenda and making sure all are in agreement , before trying to sell it.We can see this takes dynamic leadership to get things going. Movements need people with ideas, but those ideas need to be sold by people with sales skills.That's part of how change can come about;-)...ET
True change must come from the goal of a righteous cause to serve the populace. It starts with one person, an idea that grows, takes shape and form, is shared, and finally spreads to the minds and hearts of others. Jesus is a great example of one man fostering change. Has there ever been any other with a following such has he had and still has?
Change usually starts from the bottom, works its way up, and gains momentum as it grows. Keep advocating Change, my friend, and hopefully, many will listen.
How can we live in a world that accepts Mugabe, that fellow in Iran, the pornohooked-on "kid" of North Korea, the mustache Pete of Syria, the bearded gargoyle of Hamas in Gaza, Gadafi, Putin, Osama, crazy mullahs and out of their rockets ayathollas?
