I think it's beyond speaking. More like shouting at this point!! Thanks for your thoughtful reflections. This Gulf disaster is worse than most people realize. I listened to two oil industry insiders yesterday- one former Halliburton employee and one former BP/ Exxon chief. They said there is no way to stop this. They cracked open a high-density, massive deep-strata oil volcano that would take 30-100 years to empty. The sea bed has fissures stretching 20 miles from the original blow-out with multiple volcanic plumes bursting and rupturing all up and down the Gulf. The genie's out of the bottle. No putting it back in. They said the only hope would be to try and utilize a nuke device. The Russians have done this successfuly; but never in 5,000 feet of water. However, they said chances were 50-50 at best and, if it did not work, it might even make things worse as the whole damned Pandora's Box could rip wide open. They actually drilled 30,000 feet into the earth. The pressure at which oil is flowing out of the fissures is 60- 70,000 pounds per square inch. Unheard of! That's why the rig went "blamo!!!" To give you an idea, a normal high-pressure well will emit oil at about 1- 2,000 psi. But, they said the worst thing is all the organic, toxic compounds also being emitted which are now airborne and strangling the air along the Gulf shore. All of it highly carcinogenic and deadly.
