This is extremely outrageous. America is a multi-religious multi-ethnic and multi-racial nation with a longstanding history of tolerance. Now that beautiful reputation will be tarnished if this event takes place inside America. We know those who slammed planes on the walls of the Twin Towers are terrorists and not people representing or following the teachings of Islam. And please do not judge Islam on the basis of criminal acts masterminded by few disgruntled terrorists. If you act the same way as they did then you are another terrorist no matter how much you conceal your true identity. We have to foster messages that promote peace and stability and not fan the fire of hatred to construt hatred with a purpose of dividing people who have lived together in peace for centuries despite following different religious beliefs. If the Grand Sheikh of Islam tries to make a draw against this move and invites me to a Bible-Burning Event, I will not attend; please do not attend the Quran-Burning Event.

Yes this is how hatred is constructed and from hatred comes violence. Whatever is wrong with simple RESPECT for all good people? Well penned and powerful.

Abdi-Noor, I have thought for a little while about what I think you have written...and I simply have to say that for me, personally I could never hate you for being Moslem and frankly I can think of no reason why I should hate you at all.
At one time I was deeply involved in the evangelical Christian movement, I had troubles with the double standard, love/hate message that was preached and practiced.
That said, all that remains for me to say is I wish you peace.
